Tuesday Notes
2006-Sep-5 by Laughcalvin
Hi Citizens, back from a fortnight of R&R (mostly) from the beautiful South and somewhat glad to be back in the Grid. Actually, I am very glad. Too much Family and Sun is akin to too much cognac and grape soda. Let's get to it:
- The Journal of Short Film invites you to submit your short film for
consideration in Volume 6 (Winter 2006). The deadline is November 8th.
The JSF—a DVD quarterly published since 2005—has an open and free
submissions process. See www.theJSF.org for guidelines.
- Our friend Sujewa Ekanayake has been busy as a bee, what with the Pioneer Screening and writing duties. Pop in to see him.
- Drinks With Tony. Check him out. This is my kind of interview! "Interviews with writers, filmmakers, musicians and actors....sometimes taped at bars in San Francisco to give the interviews a voyeuristic feeling like you're sitting on the bar stool next to us....sometimes live in studio where the mayhem unfolds for your listening pleasure."
