Thursday Notes

- Indiewire has an interview with the director Patrick Stettner, the director of Armistead Maupin's novel "The Night Listener." I know our chum Bill Coy is keyed up about this one.
- Things are going into high gear for Sujewa as he promotes the NYC Pioneer screening of film "Date Number One." Drop in and check out his thoughts about Promotion.
- If you have not seen Neil Marshall's 2002 action/horror film, "Dog Soldiers," you should rent it on DVD. It won alot of acclaim and he is back with his film "The Descent," which netted him best director at the British Indie Awards. Intelligent well-done horror is very cool in my book. Indiewire interviews him.
- Joe Escalante talked about the miserable reality show "The One" this morning on Indie 103(American-Idol-esque drivel looking for a star, etc.) Viewers? Total 19, all members of the contestents' families and the Grips of the Production team. After everrything crashed they were thrown out on the street in downtown LA and told to go home. Visit Indie's website to relive the horror of a reality show gone bad.
