Christopher Hitchens is a writer, commentator (most famous for Vanity Fair and changing his colors, presumably after he learned he is half-Jewish. That led to support of the Iraq war and a lost of most of his old friends; And he usually drinks about 12 scotches at interviews, when writing, waking up, and before sleeping.

Absolutely not KY. But people do and say things when they are drunk (and sober) that are stupid, asinine, shameful, etc. But jumping on a bandwagon and flogging these folks when they are down points to something far darker in human nature than anti-semitism. (Did I spell that right? See? I don't even know how to spell that terrible word.)
