It seems the consensus at CHUD is that "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" is too long, too action packed, and too full of itself. Still, it seems to me like a rum-sized barrel of fun, at least at times.

Then again, if one was actually to quaff a large amount from said proverbial barrel, one would, for a short time, be imbued by a kaleidoscope of colors and images, have some wonderful tingly sensations for a bit, and ultimately keel over after over-stimulation. Possibly this is the effect that "2" has on some people.

But, I'm sure a lot of you will be judging for yourself this weekend. Why let a bunch of stuffy critcs deter you from your summer popcorn fun?

So, any thoughts on how much booty Depp and crew will rake in this weekend?
