Friends come into town and one's life and wistfully, leave town and one's life as well. Being an Island is hard on even the strongest of souls, but especially so here in LA. Due to traveling distances and the ever-driving urge to make good, being a good friend here in the Grid is devilishly hard. Folks move on and keep in touch, sure, but its not the same somehow, you know? Anyway, we sigh and move through the duties of another day despite the weight on the heart we try to ignore.
