and here i am spending all this money on nice cameras; i could be out there just filming stuff w/ my phone. its creativity and originality, not technology, that make for a great film. i think, right?- E. Henry

It ultimately comes down to the story but tech can be a major part of the story maybe. "The Meduim is the Message.." etc. I like the intimacy of the cell phone though. Since the goal is truth presented in an interesting way, the smaller the tool the more people tend to open up, relax (non-pros at least)

yeah, that is one thing that would provide for a different respose from the paticipants - i'm you'd forget real fast about some tiny little phone, as opposed as an intimidating camera.
ive already ordered a usb cable for my cellphone-i'll be shooting/editing those 30 sec clips in no time.
on a side note - what the hell happend to the canes last night? their not gonna blow it are they???
