The Bridge

Eric Steele's doc "The Bridge" is showing at the Tribeca Fest. This is an odd one:
"In this bold and thought-provoking documentary about suicide and its complex aftermath, Steel spends from dusk until dawn filming the Golden Gate Bridge everyday for a year, capturing nearly two dozen suicides that occurred in 2004. Intercut with these frightening leaps are interviews with the family and friends of the deceased."
Lots of controversy surrounding it, naturally. Is it snuff? Is it artistic social commmentary? I wonder about the effect on Steele. You know something like that will stay with you for a long time. I mean uncharitably viewed, what if this project goes as far as Man Bites Dog?
