Good Shorts
2006-May-2 by Laughcalvin
Besides reading tons, my cinematic efforts up to this point include writing and directing a few shorts. I was struck by a few things: One, how difficult it is to make a really engaging one with depth and two, how they can cost an arm and a leg. What are the elements of a really great short project? Are they the same as a 30-sec. commercial spot?
If you have made some short films or have some to great ones to recco., chime in.

Besides a tight script-I would say location. Doing as much as you can in as few locations/enviorments as possible. Dinner with Andre, ...Ths Breakfast Club.
Something with food evidently. lol

Aye, aye. I hear few locations all the time but that requires a hell of a script. Who writes that f***** well?
