The Squeeky-Clean English band Keane ("Hey, why don't we go..") needed a video director for the new album and they chose..the writer Irvine Welsh, the drugs/rock/death famous for the book Trainspotting.
"It's about a guy who is walking along the beach trying to find the error of his ways. It's a pretty weird piece and we all end up dead in it." (Via The Sunday Mail)

Q: You bill yourself as a former "celebrity stalker," having worked for The National Enquirer, Life and Style and Celebrity Living. What's been your craziest adventure, and which was the most challenging?
A: Once Britney Spears gave me the finger. That’s kind of the highlight of my journalistic career right there.
