Plain Us But Don't Knock Us

It’s a cliché now I suppose that really indie films-shorts and features- usually, one, involve people in a room torturing each other and the viewer; or two, are made for other ‘indie’ artists to watch and plug; or three (perhaps the one most prickly) made to get Hollywood’s-or any patron of the arts-attention. Despite there being a grain of truth in these cynical assumptions, I believe that some folks still make films or music or paintings, et al. because they simply enjoy the process, much like a carpenter enjoys building a a fine bench.
In Knock Knock ,a really appealing Chris Manz plays a struggling internet comic, more or less dealing with the real demands of age who attains a wistful kind of fame. Of course an old girlfriend comes calling and old ambitions and wounds are brought up. Shot in 16mm (!) Knock Knock looks good on DVD, a credit to cinematographer Zamir Kokonozi. Moments of honesty retreat into silence, nice photographs, original music, et al; not enough to engage the viewer in 20 minutes, despite the miles-wide open Manz and the efforts of co-stars Keaton Shyler and Lene Pederson.
Plain Us..Rock..and..Roll. Mr. Motlagh ratchets it up a notch, mixing it up, batting it this way and that, getting to the heart of the matter. He plays a singer/leader of a rock band who has to come home again. Of course it hurts when there is a wife and daughter you rarely see. Shrudder..Yet, filmmaking-wise, the short looks good. Color-Correction, framing, the elements are there. Kindy Barr dials in a good performance as the put-upon young Mom opposite Motlagh who is wildly photogenic in musician mode. He steals the frame in this capacity and is quiet believable on screen. Theme-wise, I'm not sure his goals come across powerfully to the viewer but is that so important? At the end of the day you express yourself and put it out there. Only he-Mr. Motlagh-knows for sure or not if he is enjoying building the bench.
I want to believe he is.

Well i dont know about it much but all that i know i'll tell u as you people have got lots of knowledge.Well in this movie some friends go somewhere where they get stuck and that place was so dangerous that if any human being enters that place they would be killed by some men who also seemed as human but actually they used to murder the people.
There wereboys and girls and slowly they were becoming prey of those deadly men.Those people i mean boys abd girls goto their place and find horrible stuff.They were four of them who entered the house of those deadly men.Two boys and girls.Their were more of them but they ere killed earlier.So then they saw a truck coming towards the house the quickly hided and that was those men who came in with few killed people.I would take it forward where they were letft three two girls and one boy they managed to get out of that house and went inti the jungle and found a wacth house over there and the ascen the stair got up in the room.One girl found radar that gave them some glee.But the boy watched out the window and saw those people down and asked girls to have a bit of hush.But the responding radar broke the silence and obviously that voice disturbed those deadly who were holding up the firewood i mean ia wood having fire at top of it.When those men climbed to the watch house or light house.The boy and girls weighed the door buy putting heavy stuff on it and after that the girls threw something out of the window as those men had lighted up the fire to light house so the boy and girls had to run to save teir life.First boy jumped out of the window on to the tree safely and so the the girls.Then those deadly men noticed that and one of them got up.One girl had to pass the lying wood to get near her fellows but she couldn't make and an axe smashed on her mouth by the deadly man.How ever other were safe.Then they got a hiding place till morning then they were going to leave that place and saw a police truck or car passing by but those men managed to approach them they took away the girl and the boy rushed towards the police car before he could say a word to the police man the police was hit on his eye with an arrow thrown by one of those man.That deadly man couldn't find the boy as he hid himself in the jungle when that deadly man started that car the boy hold himself ender beneath the car and got himself to the house where they first went and then how ever the boy managed to release girl as she was still alive and was tied with ropes.And then the boy after killing those deadly men by hitting the police car to the man inside the house.So they both got save.Plzzzz Plzzz.Iam requesting you to tell me its name.I wud be grateful to you people.Plz just tell me its name anyhow.thanks alot.This website is amazing if it gets me the name of the movie...
