Lord of the Rings: the Musical. I mean most of us loved the movies right? But if you think this sounds like a bad idea, most critics would agree with you.
The "Rings" musical debuted last month in Toronto, receiving mediocre to scathing reviews.
From the BBC:
The New York Times critic Ben Brantley writes that it was "largely incomprehensible".
"No-one emerges with head unmuddled, eyes unblurred or eardrums unrattled," he continues."Yet for all the technology, the show's look is often reminiscent of an arts and crafts fair." Ouch!
Maybe, in a few short years we can hope for a Rings movie based on the musical ala The Producers (notice the sarcasm here)! If that happens, please put an Elfen arrow through my skull.

Sorry, the musical debuted last Thursday March 23, 2006. Five days ago is hardly last month! However, in Six more days it will be correct... Guess you write for the future..
