Any Johnny Depp Fans Out There?

Who's seen The Libertine? If you're curious, check out Oh Johnny for an account of his latest work.
In the film he portrays John Wilmot, noted 17th century poet and hedonist, who is described by Samuel Johnson in this way: "in a course of drunken gaiety and
gross sensuality, with intervals of study perhaps yet more criminal,
with an avowed contempt of decency and order, a total disregard to
every moral and a resolute denial of every religious observation, he lived worthless and useless, and blazed out his youth and health in lavish voluptuousness."
Sounds like a fun guy. It's hard to believe Depp was drawn to role like this (wink, wink).
