When Irish eyes are smilin...

2006-Mar-17 by Laughcalvin

Top 'o the morning to you (unless you're east of the Central Time Zone at this exact moment)!

Here at H.I.T. we would like to celebrate 'ol St. Patty's Day with a shoutout to three fine actors from the land of Eire (and I do mean fine). These gentleman are sending hearts of ladies (and men for that matter) a flutter worldwide and they will probably do so for years to come.

First, there's that roguish fellow with the devilish good looks and purported sizable endowment, Colin Farrell. Now, there's a dirty Irishmen for ya. He does his country proud, though. What man in his station wouldn't behave (or should I say misbehave) the same way? Drinkin, chasin skirts, playin blonde ancient Greeks... what a life.

Then there's that charming fellow also with devilish good looks (which he used quite craftily in his portrayal of a psychotic psychiatrist) whose career is on the rise: Cillian Murphy (that's pronounced Killian). And man ' o war- is he slaying the ladies. Don't know much about his personal life, but you can be assured that if things continue to go swimmingly for him, he'll be in those tabs soon enough.

Lastly, we'd like to point out the work of Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Once again, like most Irishmen (most of us might be poor but at least we have a generally high level of attractiveness going for us) he's got those good looks. Check him out in Matchpoint. I never thought I'd enjoy a film indirectly related to tennis so much.

Happy St. Pat's! Enjoy those carbombs!
