Don't forget this great book is subtitled "The Story of a Murderer." It's the story of a monster who has the nose of ten blood hounds and what else?- goes into the perfume biz. Tom Tykwer, the German Director of "Run Lola Run" Fame and a even better film adaptation, "Winter Sleepers," took on the project.
