Since Death of a Salesman, it's pretty common knowledge that sacrificing relationships that don't involve commerce is pretty tragic. Or is it? People who work in filmed entertainment are just like anyone else. Listen to Josh Lucas opine:

                “Since I’ve finished ‘Poseidon,’ I’ve traveled every single day. … It’s very hard to find someone who has their own life enough that they can go with you and still not feel like they’re just there with you — if you know what I mean by that.”

Lucas, who’s been sidelined by a hand injury sustained while making “Poseidon,” claimed he’s using his time off to find a wife. “That’s my total focus!”
