Normally, after taking in a movie at the cineplex I'd return home to the ol lair, have a brew, and then yammer out my crtique in various levels of detail for all to see (or at least you faithful few who happen across our humble space from time to time).

However, this weekend I saw a film for which I believe I'd be doing everyone who hasn't seen it a dis-service. The less you know I think the better. Yet even if you've seen the trailer and read numerous reviews I still say: See This Movie.

And what is this gem of a film that made me laugh, cry, and kept me riveted for 2 hours? -Alfonso Cuaron's Children of Men. I'll give you the same information that I had, which was the premise: It's the future and women can't bare babies.

All I will say is it's one of the best films of the past year. Go see and judge for yourselves.
