This is going to be a tough one for LaughCalvin's hometown fans, but hey, if Hollywood is talking, we have to listen. The National Enquirer is reporting that American Idol Clay Aiken solicited sex from Musclebound Ex-Marine John Paulus on a gay internet site under the name of "valleyprettyboy." They subsequently had 90-minutes of man-on-man sex at a Quality Inn in Garner, NC on January 2. Even though Paulus passed a lie detector, he has recieved death threats from rabid Aiken fans. "Clay, baby, reach out your hand, there you go, that's right. that's right, and open that closet door and repeat after me: There is no Tom Cruise, there is no Tom Cruise, there..." (Via Defamer)

Not to question the integrity of such a fine publication as the National Enquirer, I must say that I feel Clay Aiken has more sense about him than to set up a homo-erotic bone fest in the very center of his home town. Clay is so well known around here I think you would be hard pressed to find one man, women, child, dog, cat, or any other warm blooded creature that couldn't pick him out of a line-up of Aiken want-a be's each sporting a well tailored shirt from the 1970's , in one hand holding a book titled the idiots guide to being cool, and in the other a fist full of benjamins. This story was big news this morning on our local radio station WDCG G-105. Bob Dumas, the namesake of "Bob and the showgram", has been at odds with Clay and his sexual preference for as long as I can remember. He seemed to take pride in saying HAAA I told you so. By the way totally off the subject I have been tring to get Mike Morris the program director for the morning show to to include a mention of Hollywood is talking in a segment he does called M&ms M&ms (Mike Morris's music & movies). So fans of HIT could help by emailing him at mike@g105.com and let him know how great HIT is. Anyway I would be willing to bet that this poor soilder was fooled into believeing he had been talking to Clay online and with a little hairspray and a flat iron he was fooled into thinking he slept with him. Being in the military he should have stood by the policy of "don't ass, don't tail".

hahahahahahahaaa..I spitting my beer all over the keyboard. Jeeezus...there we go. Hmm, I nver thought of that. An Aiken impostor. Now that is a story! I am sure the guy at the Quality Inn would have recognized him and called the tabloids UNLESS he went in disquise and registered under the name of Richard "BAAAAA" Taylor...
Let's get a private dick on the case, somebody like the smoking gun maybe to get to the "bottom of his thing, I mean case.

But you know, so what? If his fans can't understand a little man on man action, maybe they should take their entertainment dollars to Pat Roberston's 700 club for some good wholesome Christian rock.

Clay should've known his "secret" would start to leak out once he moved back to NC. In the Hollywood homosexual community, it was never much of a "secret" that Clay was known to meet guys off of the internet. But the Hollywood gays are pretty insular and known for protecting one another's penchants.
What's so amusing is the reaction of his fans who refuse to believe it. Um, does anyone remember Liberace?

Don't get me wrong. I,along with most normal people around here, are convenced Clay is at the very least bisexual. I was just pointing out the fact that he has not let hollywood dictate who he is, to a certain degree. For whatever reasons he has for hiding his sexual preference I don't think he would be so careless as to set up a rendezvous with someone at a local hotel.

All the claymates are so convinced he wouldn't show up for some internet arranged hotel rendezvouz (as the last poster suggested). Try googling the name Mario Cruz + Clay Aiken, and you'll see this isn't the first allegation of this sort.
Well stay tuned claymates - now that this has come to light, some of Clay's other internet meetings will surface as well.
