- Sujewa has a new DC-centric blog: "I started a new blog to write about all manner of film events in the DC area - from the arty to the mind numbing mainstream-y (hopefully not too much of that) to the trashy :) - the blog is called Cinetastic Washington and I hope to post there several times a day.  Here is the link: http://cinemaindcblog.blogspot.com/"

- Live-sex piped into your hotel room tube? Why not? Gregory Clayman of the co. Video Secrets said that as television sets and computers merge into the same appliance, he saw no reason that live action sex would not get a place in on-demand services in hotels. - Got 5 milllion? Want to become a producer of a film helmed by a four-time-Oscar-nominated director? All you need is $5 million, and Paul Mazursky will chat with you. Yes, the man responsible for both "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" and "The Pickle" has written the perfect screenplay on immigration with a role tailored for Gael Garcia Bernal; all he needs is the moolah, or so he said in the lobby of the Hotel Zoso, the center locale for the 18th Palm Springs International Film Festival.

- - SXSW Fest Accepting "Grindhouse" Trailer Submissions.
The South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) is putting out a call to filmmakers who would like to submit their best "grindhouse trailer," in recognition of the April release of Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's "Grindhouse." A sample of the best submissions will be judged by Rodriguez himself, and presented during SXSW, on March 11, 2007. The deadline is February 12. For more information, visit the SXSW website.
