Brokeback Mountain AND Narnia?

2005-Dec-7 by Laughcalvin

At its heart, Brokeback Mountain is "a study of love under siege", according to Anthony Lane of the New Yorker, that feels neither gay or paticularly Western." Narnia, CS Lewis' Christian fable,  is not 'traditionally' Christian, either, as it is set in another world. Could it be both films are rising above the Red State-Blue State, Secular-Religious fray that many want it to be? (e.g. Lord of the Rings v. Fahrenheit 911)
