Lawrence Oliveir, the legendary actor, once famously said "You know you are acting at the top of your game when everyone in the audience, both men and women, want to have sex with you." That pretty much sums it up but Simon has abit more to say on the subject of what makes people take to the stage and look like this:

I would agree that all actresses (even the seemingly stable ones - where I place myself) are at least a wee bit nuts. Come on, you'd have to be to choose this as a profession. But lest we forget that the same holds true for men. Now women tend to be more dramatic, so we get noticed more than the men do, hence the stereotype. But I personally also have a no actor rule. Everyone in this profession, regardless of gender, ranges from a tad bonkers to one step from the nut house.
